Happy Friday, whatever the weather...

Greetings Hedgehogs!

I hope you have all had a good week. Have you noticed how much the weather has been changing this week? I've seen sun, clouds, rain, and a rainbow and I've been cold, warm and hot!

Below are some activities for you to do this weekend, whatever the weather.

Mrs McKee has kindly been recording some music lessons for you! Here are the first ones, plus a singalong.

It's another wonderful Wednesday.

Good morning Hedgehogs!

It's Wednesday again. I don't know about you, but without school I keep forgetting what day it is. It's definitely Wednesday today though, I have checked.

Yesterday was a bit rainier than it has been recently. I went for a rainy walk which was soggy but fun. I also wrote some post cards, which I like doing and is a good rainy-day activity.

Miss Swain has given you some learning ideas here, and below are a few others...

Another Monday and a new story.

Good morning Hedgehogs, and a very happy Monday to you.

Congratulations to everyone that managed to finish the tasks for Mr McGregor. If you haven't, don't worry they are still there for you to work your way through. I am very glad that you have been enjoying them.

I've put some of your work here for everyone to have a look at.

Today, we start a new Fairy Tale Fixers story...with your three jobs for the week. Have fun!

love from Miss Nash.

PS grown-ups if these jobs could be done and sent to me by Saturday, I'd appreciate it. As ever, though, I understand if it may be difficult and please do let me know if you need extra support.

Happy (late) St George's Day!

Good morning Hedgehogs,

I hope you and your families are enjoying the warm spring weather. Every morning when I wake up the birds sing to me. I like it.

A few of you have told me you have been planting seeds and doing other gardening - hooray! Last year I planted lavender, because it's good for bees, and it is turning very purple.

Well done for all of the Fairy Tale Fixer work you have been doing! I've been very impressed with your hard work and creative ideas.

Grown-ups, please send me the rest of your children's Fairy Tale Fixer work for Mr McGregor by Sunday. I will displaying it on Monday and would like to have as much as it in as possible thank you.

Love from Miss Nash

P.S. Here is a message from Mr Bachelor, just for you!

Happy Wednesday, Hedgehogs.

Hello Hedgehogs,

I hope you had a good Monday and Tuesday. I have really enjoyed seeing all of your Fairy Tale Fixer work. If you are stuck with any of it, please email me and I will help.

It has been very sunny in Brackley. I have been going for walks and the lambs in the fields are very funny! They keep trying to follow me. I have not brought one home yet though.

Here are some fun ideas for learning, just for you!

I hope you enjoy them.

Keep sending your Fairy Tale Fixers work to me, and anything else you get up to. I will be putting more of your work up on Monday for you to see!

Today, I will leave you with a joke:

What animal is always at a cricket match?

... a bat!

It's the summer term!

Greetings Hedgehog Class,

I hope you have had a lovely two weeks and a good Easter weekend. I have been mainly:
  • talking to Komet the pony
  • going for walks
  • watching films
  • doing jigsaws and
  • reading books
What have you been up to?

I hope you have enjoyed the Fairy Tale Fixers' work. Here are the final few chapters of Mr McGregor's problem.

Please keep emailing me your work so that we can keep up with the story together. Remember: each one of the jobs you do will earn you a marble for your jar.

I will put some of your work up later this week - parents, please email me anything you have done over Easter by Tuesday.

I am looking forward to hearing from you Hedgehogs!

love from Miss Nash

PS parents: you should have received information about a phonics app called Graphogame and also maths from Maths No Problem. Both of these will help to keep your child's basic skills up over the next few weeks.

Also, PS I have been forwarding your Easter Garden entries to Mrs Davies. Please let me have any entries by Tuesday!

Goodbye!

Dear Hedgehog Parents, It feels very strange finally to be saying goodbye to you all. Whaddon has been my second home for the past ten years...
