Thursday 4th February

Greetings Hedgehogs,

I read a funny news report yesterday. There is a farmer who has goats. At the moment, she is renting out her goats to people to have on their Zoom calls... so people pay her a bit of money and she puts her goats on the Zoom call with them.

I thought perhaps I should have had a goat with me when I chatted to you yesterday.

Job 3: Handwriting

Please practise your long ladder letters:

  • begin by forming the letters correctly with good, straight lines
  • when you can do that, try to make your letters sit on the line
  • when you can do that, try to make your 'l' taller than the others
  • If you want an extra challenge write:
    lid
    lit
    till
    yell
.... and make sure your small letters are small and your tall letters are tall!
(stop at the right challenge for you :0) )

Have a good Thursday, Hedgehogs! Don't forget our Zoom storytelling tomorrow (Friday):

Goodbye!

Dear Hedgehog Parents, It feels very strange finally to be saying goodbye to you all. Whaddon has been my second home for the past ten years...
